high High Colorado | I think the 568 deere is the best baler out thier. I bought one of the first Mega-wide 567, baled around 22,000 with it and had no real problems... We did have to Hammer the strippers bars DOWN once in awhile (2-5 times a year) because of all the UN-LEVEL gound....
I As i recall we replaced lots of teeth a coulpe of the plactice "Finger Guards" . I think we did replace a stripper bar. We bale some of the crappest hay in colorado.. with Sticks, rocks and dirt clods.
My Rich Neighbor bought a New Holland, a Hesston and now runs a Vermer. In the same time period I had my 567 Deere. And THey have far less hay to put up.
As for 568 I only got around 2000 bales on it.. its Heavy built... and better than the 567 in a lot of ways. | |
