So, enlighten me on this. You want to hire someone to "manage" property, for after you are no longer capable, yet at the same time no one wants the hassle, but meanwhile they desire income from the ground and will pay someone to "manage" it for them?

Sounds like your "people" are the type that would like to "ride out to the farm." Is this rangeland, crop land, a mix, some CRP/WRP, hunting, or what? Just find or keep a good tenant that will more than likely be in it longer than any firm you will hire and keep the money for yourself.


One bit of information, most people feel that anyone more than 50 miles from their domicile that talks the talk is an expert. For some odd reason, the human brain makes it easier to deal with a total stranger that will charge them a handsome fee instead of someone local that can be trusted and do the same or a better job for less.

OR, make it easy, sell it.
