southern MN | Yea, it is tough.
A person builds up a business/life/ something to be proud of, something you invest your heart & soul into.
It's very hard to control it after you are gone.
I'd want to also, but it is difficult.
James J Hill the railroad tycoon set up an estate of his business that was self-controlled for something like 100 years, it had to be linked to heirs but could run itself without all the bickering & such, and survived the many changes in law over the decades. I believe it only expired reciently. Interesting history there for how a cut-throat businessman but generally quiet gentle guy accomplished things.
