From what I've read about this deal, they had not completed it yet. It appears the dealer made an error (truthful or not) which was corrected before anything was signed. If they had a signed contract, then yes the dealer should have to live with the deal. Other than trying to renegotiate the deal, I doubt there's anything he can do about it except move on.
Problem with Deere dealer... What would you do?
