we go snowmobiling with guys that run the Cummins and the Duramax, as well as a couple gas pots. I sure would want anything but a Cummins after seeing the amount of fuel burned by the Duramax. The trucks where both 08's.
I can't figure out if you miss typed, forgot to proof read, or if I'm going dyslexick. I've read this comment now 4 times, and can't decide if the Duramax burns alot of fuel or if the Cummins does. I have a friend that pulled his 5th wheel camper to the Black Hills and back from central Iowa in his older 24 valve cummins, going with a friend with a Duramax also pulling a large camper. The duramax burned alot more fuel, and the cummins kept having to kick off the cruise at every hill because the duramax would slow down so muck. The cummins even has the junk automatic in it, compaired to the mighty Allison. The cummins owner even turned the programer completely off(meaning totally stock), and still was running over the newer duramax.
