Subject: Re: CAT skid steers Iseedit?

Renville Minnesota

Were looking at skids now too.     You run tracks, and a thread down below said something about tracks not being a good choice for farms.  We run a LX885 right now, and for years thought it was the only way to go.....then I sat in a CAT (Agboy was right)

We put maybe 200-250 hrs a year.   Half snow removal, some dirt work, some gravel, will be making trails this summer through the woods (lots of em)......  Ya know i'd take tracks over anything, but for some reason am thinking a wheeled machine with throw over tracks might be a better choice......

 Why do I think that?

Salesman said he had two different guys trade in D3's for the big Cat skids.  Said they'd move the same amount of dirt?

So if you had to replace your CAT, would it be another CAT?

 Thanks.
