As I said above our bank does this sort of thing and yes it can be done without a true mortgage, we do use a legal doc (can't remember what we call it) to get around this issue. Put it this way...we don't do this for just anybody and repossessing a machine shed would require burning through a ton of equity before it would be an issue. I didn't say it was impossible, just sayin... most guys that do it, have a reason...too much income... and that makes us bankers :)
