I've never seen a jack rabbit in Eastern Iowa. I used to hunt and now I cover quite an area planting but haven't seen a jack rabbit.
This fall I never saw a pheasant in the field. Then one night driving the tractor home on the highway I saw one run across the road in front of me into our own house yard.
I saw more deer, hawks and eagles than anything this year.
Any body see Jack rabbits anymore?
