The easy solution to this is to just put a magnet NMO mount on the roof just like you do for an FMX-SNB900R etc... Just stick the joey in the cab under the seat, behind the seat, wherever, the radio is flat enough it fits in small places. I have done this in a couple of different applications and we just use a 15 ft cable with Magnet NMO mount antenna base and works well.
