Here in the USA | I was told by the local GPS clan that you loose 6 " in vertical accuracy every mile from base with or without repeater. The neighbor found out the hard way, bought into the dealer system and then 4 miles from the base tower was 2-3 feet of variance on level. Not what you want when tiling. I have my own portable base and have tried getting 1-2 miles from the base and vertical goes up drastically when you get over a mile away. | |
