I think they change the formulation of Dexcool back to more of the original type of anti-freeze. The old dexcool took many head gaskets and intake gaskets out. GM got sued a bunch because of it.
They also did a major overhaul of the additive package in it. it is still Propylene glycol, but greatly improved.
Ahhhh..........................Dex-cool is not a glycol based anti-freeze. It's an OAT (organic acid technology) product.
