Central IL | I have a 2,000 sq ft house w/full basement and the contractor installed a 4 ton Water Furnace. I insulated the basement walls in order to keep from having to increase the size to a 5 ton unit.
I got three bids and the Water Furnace contractor was the middle bid. The low bid was from a contractor who had only installed two geo systems which made me leary because I didn't want to be part of his learning curve. However, all contractors bid 4 ton units. I would ask why one bid is a 5 ton unit and the others are 3 ton. | |
