Subject: RE: Possible To "T" Implement Switches?

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I have done this on occasion. Generally I feel it is "safer" to use a relay to keep the two systems separate. On a Rawson install, I used an implement switch to run a double pole relay. One "side" of the relay stopped the Rawson and the other "side" went to an Ag Leader App Rate Module.

In the case of a more complex Insight install on a planter that used both Direct Command and also the App Rate module I did tee them together.

Then again buying a separate planter switch from Deere (assuming it is a Deere Planter) is not very expensive and would offer complete safety.

You can be sure if you have problems with the planter side that the planter tech person will blame your wiring.
