The low interest rates are helping the land market along with the commodity prices. A few dollars more with low interest, can be money ahead of a couple hundred less and two points higher interest over the course of the loan. It will hold its value over time. Farm Credit is much more thorough and require more equity than in the 80's. As do most banks right now.
