I understand your point of yiew, however, we could also play the devil's advocate and speculate when corn will (WILL) reach $2/bu.
If we see $2 corn with today's expenses, you'll be invited to my auction. Especially with "hyper inflation".
I'm thinking basis contracts on maybe a third of expected production. That's safe and almost as good as a check.
