I just updated to 2.6 this a.m. before reading these posts. I didn't have any troubles. Put the new update on one of the cards also and didn't have any problems. I did have to update from 2.3 to 2.5 and then to 2.6 but I wouldn't think that would have helped anything.
Hold off on the new Apex update...
