I plan for a 90 bu dryland crop here. 80-100 units of N, no-till, 28-30,000 pop, maintenace P and K, $30-$75 rent, basis now is $-.57 for Dec, usually -$.30-.35.
We make it work, and usually have around $50 to spare when where all done. Not trying to be smart but it is dang sad when you guy can crank 220-240bu/ac and get to keep as much as I do or less for almost 3x the crop.
I have to ask this about corn production
