North Central Kansas | KBag it looks like the weatherman hit the mark on this one. Don't know how much we will get but it is raining pretty good here. Looks like you guys on the other side of the county should get a good rain. We already have over 1.35 and there is alot of rain to the west. A nice 2-3 inch rain would sure help. Hope everyone ends up with a good rain out of this.
Update: 4am and we are at 2.80 according to my electric rain guage. Will compare it to the old fashioned one in the morning. I feel better now. Still alot of things to happen to this crop before it is in the bin but at least it shouldn't burn up now. I am sure we took some of the cream off of the top the last three weeks of 100 degree temps but at least we made it this rain and should have something to harvest. I am glad my beans were 3.8 and 4.0's. That extra length should help.
