Subject: Re: Value from seed dealer

East Central, NE
I was just saying it's impossible to physically test every single hybrid/variety on the market on your own field. Now if you think your seed dealers are just trying to push high priced hybrids or haven't did their homework on what hybrids work best in certain situations then I would kick that dealer to the sidewalk pretty fast.
Obviously, we all want the best price but also the best performance. Most honest seed dealers try to do just that. If there is a new hybrid out that he thinks will do well in my tough hills, i want to know about it and try it.
I certainly don't have all the answers when it comes to farming, so I'll gladly ask the advice of my seed dealer when it comes to seed, local agronomists when it comes to fertility, disease problems, etc... because sometimes, just sometimes, other people know more than I do about certain things.
