| Keeping the critters out is the only trouble we've had. In one spot with lots of coons we ran an electric wire 4-6 inches off the ground to keep them out. Otherwise not much. I don't know if I believe it myself but it seems like the grain coming out looks nicer than the grain going in. We put some pretty junky weedy wheat and moldy corn in last year and it all went to the elevator looking pretty good. We also bagged some corn for a feedlot that was wet enough it didn't come out of the grain tank very well, 30 -35%. When it came out it had a nice sweet smell and they loved the feed. The stuff we put in at 18% came out at 18%, 17% came out at 17% etc. | |
