A bit confused..................do you want to auto steer with the Trimble RTK and FMX and use the GPS imput for the JD console?

Is there any JD GPS installed to this machine or are you starting with a blank slate with only the JD console for the machine operations?

If you do want to steer with the Trimble RTK using the 4730 steering valve and sensors you'll need to install the appropriate Trimble Autopilot JD AT Platform Kit (Nav II) to the machine. The only small problem you'll face is that the Trimble RTK NMEA won't be automatically accepted by the JD console for the swath control - there is an issue there. There has been a plethera of time dedicated to that subject here previously so a backwards investigation through the forum topics would be warranted to find out what you'll need to change if you want that to work - not sure if it does as I've never bothered to go that way after the first failed attempt and a couple of wasted days.

For all it's worth, most of my systems now run an Ez-Boom for swath control with the FMX. It is cheaper than the JD code and the coverage is then in the same display as the guidance. The JD console just does the basic spray and machine functions.

It's a happy compromise that works.......
