Bonanza, Or
Some of the problems with the trimble software are how many programing inputs there are and what you have to do if you change products ( density, rate) or if you change spread width. The guys at trimble know guidance but are in the learning stages for granular control and so far they have not addressed the known problems with any software changes since 5.1 came out. I have run a Rawson Par 40 with the 500 and field IQ and am now running a par2 with the 500 and field IQ. The par 40 was a wreck but that wasn't really the 500's fault, the problem there was the type of spreader I was putting it on and the size of the drive drum.
What are you wanting to control with the 500 on the granular side?
