Wanted a cheap tractor, like a good challenge, figured a Detroit would be easier and unique. Oh, and I found one really cheap. Notice any common theme here? :)

Will have to educate myself about the life expectancy of bearings. For example, little tiny bearings in the Cyclo 400 corn planter blower turn at what, 5000 rpm? And last a good long time, totally sealed and no lube. But no, do not want bearings out.
edit - oh yeah, dad and I also discussed Lord coupler, concluded having only one spot of light flex isn't enough, like running pto with one set of u-joints :) Be good as a dampener though I am thinking?
Well, hay needs to get done soon, barley not quite ready, so I am going to have to go back to work soon ....
