Winkler, Manitoba Canada | Are both combines set at the same angle on the front feeder faceplate. You can also set the feeder drum to the front position to gain a little more aggressiveness. I changed the feeder drum to an A & I feeder drum for this year. It seems to be quite a bit more aggressive at feeding material into the feederhouse. It would however not actuate the electric stone trap as well. A big issue for good feeding on the TR is that the stone trap door is adjusted correctly with the door closing just above the feeder house floor. There also were several different version of tin on the front of the feeder faceplate with some being very poor for feeding. This pic is what you want to have.
