Carter Montana | I'm trying to set up an air seeder tank to map and log a custom blend of dry products. I will be putting out 70 lbs./acre of a mix (46-0-0 urea, 11-52-0 MAP and Potash) that will yield a blend of 5-26-12. My Insight wants the pounds per cubic foot of this product which I can figure out eventually, but I'm uncertain how to handle the base mix amount. If it is like liquid applications I need to enter the base size of the air tank in cubic feet but wanted to see if there is a better way. I'd like to get it right as I may variable rate apply 85 Lbs. of this product in some areas which, of course, will change the blend formula I'm applying and I'd like to log it correctly for the smart reports etc.... Could I set the product up on a 100# base rate (8-37-17) and just have the Insight compute back based on my actual application rate? | |
