seedpea straw brown and nasty looking as it is,,   is candy to cows they'll wolf it down like kids with their goody bags at halloween.

Used to grow seed peas, decided to bale the straw well,, for straw to bed the cows in winter. Threw out the first 30-40 bales,, then fed them dinner of hay. Came back the next morning,,

there was not 1 stick of pea straw left, they must have ate all night,, was just starting in on the alfalfa hay for desert. lol...
