The past couple of years with the EXTREMELY wet falls, we haven't had as good of luck using Wheel speed. There seems to be a lot more slip than I would have ever imagined. We also have quite a bit of rolling terrain and terraces. I rode with a fellow shelling corn last year that was doing a lot of steering with the brakes. I would think an accurate GPS speed would be better in wet conditions.
