1. Our experience in the past has been that the "dry" bushels aren't as many when we let it dry down in the field.
2. Harvesting earlier at a higher moisture then drying with a contiuous flow dryer seems to inhibit the growth of toxins.
3. Even starting at a higher moisture with the corn, we will have rice ready to harvest before we finish the corn, and rice does not fair very well if it stays in the field after it matures.
