This corn never got hurt by any frost and wasn't planted in any excess moisture. Had a really wet June and first couple weeks of July, so that might have been the cause.
It's Pioneer 1480 which is suppose to be a newer number that really performs around here. Guess we'll see in a few months if thagts true.
