Better wait for a couple more weeks, for the weather to cool some and more moisture. Putting on a hot mix this time of year will stunt the grass or possible burn it off. Water is neccessary for the mix to work and will thicken the grass in the latter summer / fall weather (thick grass keeps weeds out). Spring applications will help keep it green, but if adiquite moisture isn't pressent throughout the growing season - the grass will go dormante. Water first, fertilizer second . . . . |
