NC Iowa | Rains have not stopped here, 3-5" last night and more on the way. WAAAY to much water in the last 6 weeks, where there is crops they look pretty good however if it now dries out we will be in big trouble with shallow roots and kernel/pod fill.
Elevators are empty and wanting grain, cash corn basis is -.43 @ $3.35, fall corn basis -.50 @ $3.42 about .10 off of normal basis. Cash soybean basis is .02 @ $9.84 (normal is -.25), fall beans basis is -.63 @$9.19 (normal -.35).
No problems delivering anything here, nobody waiting in line either all is getting used up as fast as it is brought in!!!!! | |
