Subject: RE: Definition of "chisel plow"

east central ND
Around here a chisel plow is just shanks, 12" spacing, usally harrow on back, big guy have some 60 foot ones. Mulch tiller - coulters and shanks, 15 " spacing. Disc chisel - angle disc and shanks with 15" spacing. Disc ripper - angle discs and wide spaced heavy shanks for going deep. Interesting how just a few miles can change names of equipment.
