Southeast Iowa | We use Motorola units which have a range of about ten miles give or take. They are great for tractor-to-tractor or combine-to-tractor. If we are far away, the cell phone does the job. If your truck-to-truck or combine-to-truck is ninety percent of the chatter, then don't bother getting a powerful setup or even waste your dough on a base. The cell phones will take care of those few times when long distance is needed. | |
