I took a look at our 9260, it looks about like your pictures. I guess we just run it that way. Usually have the skid shoes set fairly low (about like your picture I think). I normally run with the tilt at the line between green and yellow. The lift arms are polished pretty well on the bottom but we're happy with cut height at maybe 2-3 inches (without measuring.
