I tried one of these 12 volt kits on my 3020. I felt the instructions with mine were not too good. I ended up running the two batteries in series and hooked at the starter. It also has one of those old style ford relays before the starter solenoid. Now my fuel gague does not work, do I need to change the gague to a 12 volt style?
