Subject: Turbo Floodjets - Alternating Forward and Back

Arva, Ontario

I'll see if I can find a link, but after all the work we did here in Ontario with expensive nozzle arrangements, our research engineer tried a set of TurboFloods (pointing down so they spray forward and back with @ 15 degrees of downward deflection) were equivalent to all the sexy hardware we'd tried before. It was a very simple, economical setup.

Get a set of Turbofloods that will apply ~15 gal at their recommended running range, and make sure that the ones pointing forward will spray below the boom structure... Try to keep the boom about a foot off the canopy and speed 6 to 12 mph. Have them so they alternate - 1 forward, 1 backwards across the boom.

I currently run double swivels with 2 TurboTeeJets (one forward, one backward). When this sprayer leaves, the system above will be what I graduate to.
