I was hoping that someone might mention how barley pricing was in the state of Virginia where Osage Bio Energy put out a lot of contracts there for barley for its ethanol plant.

We had some comments this week from Virginia's soybean specialist in our Southern grain report about how much the acreage had jumped there, mostly because of barley. He and a lot of other people hopes this turns into something because growers could plant doublecrop beans earlier after barley than following wheat.

Osage has a plant in Virginia and planned one in South Carolina, but that one was canceled when the economy pancaked.
