Subject: Re: cotton round bales

Our little gin has a skytrak and it works great. they have retofitted the front to accept one of deere round bale handlers and put them on the feeder with it. they pull up there and a guy with a razor knive on a peice of pvc pipe cuts the bottom of the bale. They slide apart the forks on the handler and it falls out. they put some spikes on the inner parts of the forks to grab the plastic and it works like a charm. They bought both used and only have like 40000 in the set up. Maybe not that much. Email me and I will get you my gin managers contact information. my email is in my profile. We can gin as many bales per hr as one of them unwrapping rigs can.
