Subject: Sulfur deficiency in corn on corn

Hello folks,

Are any of you seeing symptoms of sulfur deficiency in corn on corn fields this spring?

A former student recently sent me some pics that show corn plants that have paler new leaves and darker green more mature leaves. looks like classic symptoms of S deficiency to me. I will share the pics if he gives me permission.

Interestingly the 4 refuge rows in the middle of the planter appear to be more uniformly dark green than the triple stack plants.

Have any of you ever observed differences in sulfur nutrition between refuge and triple stack hybrids?
