I inject manure in the fall, also spread during the winter and don't see ANY difference in residue decomposure vs where i don't haul manure. 'Always have to much residue to deal with.
99% of the time we have zero snow cover, cause its so windy HERE all the snow blows in the fencelines and groves.


Dang, Kind of like living in Antarctica ??? I do see your point Mlebrun

One thing to think about ??? manure can have a N negative until the soil temps are above 70 or so Plus ??? Like in JULY ???

and if you Inject ??? raw manure ??? That can provide some Organic N the following season, a year away ? at times !!!
