I know the 1460 used the Kuhn cutterbar, but being I went from that machine (used for more than 15 years) to a 735, I couldn't tell you much about the other Deere machines.
I like the impellers in my grass hay, they do a good job. The center drive is a big plus over the left hand style of the 1460 as well.
