Subject: Re: John Deere 8225R

The tractor is IVT which i have been told is causing trouble too as is not running at full rpm to get full changing power shift would off been better, have had the tractor dynode and gave 200 HP at 2100 rpm but only about 130 to 140 HP at 1800rpm, the so called experts have told me the peak power is to start at 2100 then pull back to 1800 under load that is maximun HP at 1800 but you have to start at 2100 which i cant. Looked into reduction gear box today got priced $6750 and would have to wait 4 weeks to get one, got a bargin at $300.
