Subject: If you had to "BUY" ACRE by Barnaby!

Barnaby just posted this AgManager information about ACRE. Sort of some extraordinary thinking as usual from Barnaby!!

Dear Recipient:
If ACRE were a private insurance contract, then based on the current market and yield information what would the premium cost be for an ACRE contract? KSU has completed a premium rating of ACRE. In some cases a current premium for ACRE would be very expensive, but the cost for ACRE does not change with the level of risk; the cost is 20% of your direct payments, loss of counter cyclical payments, if any and reduction in the loan strike price.

The link to the KSU estimated market value of ACRE is at:

Faster loading but less formatting HTML at:

The KSU Ag Econ WEB page is located at:

If you have any problems with the website downloading a paper then Dr. Rich Llewelyn can probably help you.

His email is [email protected] or phone 785.532.1504.
