Panhandle of Ne.
Beet field man came out today to see how bad the wind/hail was yesterday. We were at about a 50-70% stand yesterday morning and this evening at about a 35-60% stand. Considered replanting the worst pivot, but seeing how this year is working, no guarantee the replants would come up and do any better plus, it is getting mighty late especially if we have a early frost in Sept. which is possible. I believe that just about anything is possible this year.

So proud the cotton is coming up fast. I remember if the conditions were right, that stuff could amaze a person how fast it would come up. I noticed a watch box in W. Tex. a while ago on the weather. Hope it is not going far enough south to get ya'll. You also have had enough adverse weather to last a long while.
