| It is a curious thing about the yields. You can use insurance numbers, which may or may not be accurate, you can use the county plug, or you can use the actual yields. The staff in the FSA office find it just a puzzling as I do, but that is how they view it. You can also use an insurance number one year, then a plug, then an actual yield - you can do the same thing between different farm numbers and between crops. . It is also common to not to have all the grain moved out of bins before the last date (April 29th) to alter the numbers for insurance purposes and therefore not really have exact yields.
