Northeast Indiana (Auburn) | I'm getting a bit nervous about mine too but mine and most of my neighbors' corn is still in the bag. It was almost dry enough to plant on Aprill 21st-22nd. but the ground was too cold and rain plus cold weather was in the forecast. The corn that got in the ground April that was up got a good frost Monday. The yellow leaves were turning black last night. Calling for rain and cool weather the next four days, so maybe next week it will dry out enough to get started. By the time I finnished planting corn last year the first time I knew what corn had to be replanted, the same with soybeans. |
