Subject: Starting to get nervous about my corn

Iowa
Ok - planted 4/22 into nice conditions, followed up with a rain. Seedlings looked nice and healthy white before this weekend and were just starting to emerge. (within 1/2 - 3/4 in of soil surface at deepest to just poking up) This weekend we had a frost and now have rain and 40's for highs for the next 3 days. The corn is just sitting there because of the cold temps -- guy across the fence planted on the Sunday before (4/18) and his corn has been up for a week. (but our soil temps have been decreasing since they planted) How long would you give it - I figure I'll know alot more by the weekend (get into the 70's again) - 4 in soil temp has been as low as 47 and as high as 52!! in the last 3 days - so no real growth is to be expected. Seedlings still look white.
