Threaded nut ? Are you talking about the adjuster ? Liberally spray it with Hagen's Brew or your favorite penetrating oil. Let it soak over night.Then back the adjuster off.You may have to use a thin (blunt) chisel and hammer to get the adjuster to turn the first time.Just tap the chisel in both directions if you can. Chances are the shoes have worn the drum and left a ridge on the outer lip of the drum and that is where the drum is hanging up . Nothing wrong with hydraulic brakes.
