Mid-Missouri | I am looking at grapple forks for a Gehl 7810 with steel tracks, 110 hp. I don't want a "cheapy" that will bend tines and be ineffective in picking up wood behind the excavator nad dozer. I have admired both AnBo and Precision grapples. Precision is local, Sedalia MO, and AnBo is not, but is a name known for quality grapple forks. The Precision has 3/4 inch steel tines with chisel points, the AnBo is 3/4 on ends and 5/8 in the middle made out our ar 400 steel. The Precision can be had with single or double section grapples, and AnBo says the good ones have just one solid top section. The Precision is not sure how well the unit would work back dragging, AnBo shows this in their pics. They are both priced about $4,500 all said and done. The Precision would be the HD444S85 or D85, 85inches wide, and the AnBo would be the GRX model, 96 inches wide. A few questions: What tine spacing, 6, 8 or 12? I don't want a bucket full of dirt, I can already do that with my bucket. But I want to get 95% of the wood left. If it worked out, maybe use it for a few rocky areas. Double or Single top grapple? It may get used for 6x5 bales at times, maybe two at a time. What brand would you go with? Thanks. http://www.precisionmfg.com/nodeorder/term/3 http://www.anbomanufacturing.com/Grapple-Rakes/
