Subject: Re: Hagie DTS 8 wheel motors

SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!
I have never blown a motor and I have had a 254, two 284s,284xp and DTS10 now but then I don't try to go over terraces at 10 MPH. How do you keep the boom out of the dirt at that speed? You might try lowering your ride height as much as possible. That really helps with the spinning and gives more travel. I have never been stuck enough to need a pull in over 20,000 hours of use. I have had to let the air out of the "high" wheels a couple of times.
